Brown Owl School Notes - 16th December 2008

Some of these candid photographs were pretty blurry, I've done what I can to make them viewable.

I never attended Brown Owl school but most of my friends in Gillespies Rd did, I've  heard enough about the school and certain teachers to feel like I am an ex-pupil. We'd cut through the school for all sorts of reasons, be it to reach the skateboard bowl in Timberlea (late 70s-ish) or the train tunnel, or to take a break from catching crawlies in the creek that runs alongside the school. I believe we even attended the odd table tennis night or disco on a Friday evening in the School Hall.
